Sorry we've been kind of incognito around here lately, the end of the year craziness has kept all of us in the Bakery quite busy. Let's see if we've missed much...
London: Fulham USA has named Roy Hodgson as their new manager in a surprise move. His best run was probably taking Switzerland to the second round of the 1994 World Cup and Euro 1996. He's also taken Inter Milan to the UEFA Cup final in the '90's and managed Blackburn Rovers in '97-'98. He appreciates the technical side of the game, and will be a big change from long ball Lawrie Sanchez. Clint Dempsey should be pleased.
Dallas: Tom Hicks expresses some regret about not buying FC Dallas. I guess Liverpool helped heal the regret a little, huh?
San Jose: Minor construction is beginning at Buck Shaw Stadium, to get it ready for MLS and the Earthquakes.
