Troy Perkins: Perkins is officially a member of Vålerenga IF, Oslo. Superstar blogger Goff reveals that the transfer fee was around $750,000, with DCU getting 2/3rds of that. He's going to Norway as the #1 GK and will more than double his salary there. VIF wanted to bring Troy over for a trial, but DCU said no. I guess VIF watched games on the MLS website and liked what they saw, because they came in with a proper offer anyway. I hope this is a good move for Perkins' development. DCU has replaced him with Houston's former #2, Zach Wells.Jared Borgetti: No Borgetti for MLS, as he's headed to Monterrey for the Interliga. That's fine, I think he's mostly done anyway.
