Sol to Chivas USA?

According to Medio Tiempo, the house cleaning is about to take place in Guadalajara, as Chivas owner Jorge Vergara is unhappy with the team's exit in the semifinals of the Clausura.

What does this mean for MLS? Well, Vice President Nestor de la Torre has admitted that the team is close to shipping midfielder Manuel Sol to Chivas USA. (For those who don't recognize him, he's the one to the left of a very flamante Bofo Bautista, the red-haired freak.)

de la Torre says that Sol is "taking the news well" and that talks are going well. At 33 years old, it would be a nice move for Sol, and I think he'd fit in well with Sacha and Marsch, plus give the team another link back to its parent club, something missing since Francisco Palencia returned to Mexico after last season.
