Ex-D.C. keeper lands in Atlanta

Saturday afternoon the Cupcakes staff ran into Ryan McIntosh, who played for the D.C. United reserves last season.

Seems the former UCF standout has signed a deal with the Atlanta Silverbacks just a few weeks before the start of the USL-1 season.

McIntosh will be reunited with Andy Metcalf, his roommate last season in D.C. Metcalf was signed earlier this year for the Silverbacks, and the duo are hoping to play prominent roles for a Silverbacks team that hasn't made the USL-1 playoffs since 2002.
