Back to the Champions League...

Cruz Azul hosts Saprissa in what is probably the best game of this round tonight. The other Group A game is tomorrow night as DC travels to Honduras to face Marathon. I hope their defense learns how to stop a counterattack between now and then, otherwise the Green Monster is going to kill them...

Houston makes their debut in the group stage, traveling to Panama to face San Francisco. Pumas was shocked with a draw in their visit to Estadio Rod Carew last week. They will try to save face when they host L.A. Firpo of El Salvador tomorrow night.

Group C sees the winners of Round One facing off in Canada as Atlante visits Montreal. We'll see if the Impact are for real with this one. Joe Public tries to rebound after a disasterous beginning when Olimpia comes to town.

The Cinderella story of the Puerto Rico Islanders continues tonight when Santos Laguna visits the island. Alajualense and Tauro were one thing, Santos is an even tougher challenge. Is SUPERHERO BILL GAUDETTE up for it? Municipal, who almost came back from two down against Santos in Round One, goes to Panama to face Tauro on Thursday.

Check out FSC and the Telefutura familia of networks for all the action this week...

PR wins in a real downpour. It looked like they were playing in the swimming pool.

MLS is still perfect. No wins.

Yeah, PR won but they still can't beat the Silverbacks.

They won the league though. Pretty good year for the Islanders, you have to say. Big wins in the CONCACAF Champions League, the Commissioner's Cup in USL, not too shabby.

Colin Clarke has done a hell of a job down there with that team. I didn't see it coming after his playoff implosions in Dallas.
