Last year, DCU almost signed a guy who looked like a bobblehead. This year, they're close to signing a guy who's nickname is "the dwarf" (El Enano).

The little guy getting booted from behind is Franco Neill, a 24 year old forward from Argentinos Juniors in the Argentine 1st division. He's listed at 5'4", but that could be generous. It's actually not a bad deal, the rumors have it as a loan (DCU pays $60K) with an option to buy (supposedly around $900K, which seems really high). He's scored ten goals in sixty league matches, with his best season in the 2006 Clausura. He's been used primarily as a substitute since then.

The defender that was rumored to be coming to DC might not happen now.
