Quickie Western Conference Final prediction

Please raise your hand out there if you honestly think Kansas City is going to win this game. I don't want to say it's impossible, but it has to be considered highly improbable. You can't completely count a team with a guy like Eddie Johnson (partially because you never know which Eddie Johnson you're going to get).

Houston has been consistent most of the season. They have a strong defense, one of the best in MLS history. They can score goals from quite a few different sources. They could be one of the most balanced teams in recent league history. Even with DDR not showing out like he can, the Dynamo have been strong all season long.

Throw in the fact that Houston plays strong in big games (the epic ones against Pachuca, the strong performance in the second leg against Dallas), and I think the Wiz are in trouble here. Judging from their performances against Chivas, KC is going to try to keep the game scoreless as long as possible and not take too many chances. I just don't think that will work against this Houston team.

Chingy and Brad Davis score in the second half to lead Houston to an MLS Cup rematch, the Dynamo wins 2-0.

Houston 2-0 Kansas City

I can't believe anyone would actually pick KC in this one.
