Sprinkles: Thuggin' in H-Town

Houston: The Dynamo were who we thought they were, handling KC pretty easily with a 2-0 win. Brian Ching is questionable for the Final on Sunday, and Nate Jaqua should be suspended after his vicious forearm shiver to the face of Jack Jewsbury. There is absolutely no excuse for that type of play, none. While the referee could have very well missed it due to where he was on the field (the ball had switched ends quickly and he was behind the play), the league office has to take a stand on this type of play. I don't care if Ching does miss the Final, there's no way Jaqua should be given a pass because of that. Let's hope this is done right.

Seattle: Seattle FC or the Seattle Sounders or the Seattle Sounders FC will become official members of MLS on Tuesday at a press conference. I'd prefer for the team to be the Sounders, but if they go the FC route, that would alright. Just as long as they don't put any other type of "official" nickname on the team, they should be the Sounders without a doubt.

LA: The Gals won their Copa Minnesota match against the Minnesota Thunder Sunday night. The Thunder were augmented by some of the top players from around the USL, with Sebastian LeToux of the Sounders scoring Minnesota's goal. The Gals won a shootout after regulation ended 1-1.
