Cupcakes of the Week

Sorry these are a little late, it's been a bit of a hectic week...

Tom Soehn: The first coach Cupcake, but it's well deserved in my book. After sitting through a dreadful FA Cup Final on Saturday morning, with Alex Ferguson doing everything to hold on to a 0-0 draw and go for penalties, it was great to see Soehn go for the win in Toronto. After DC scored to level the game, Soehn pulled a defender to go for the win. Guy Roland-Kpene was excellent after coming on, freeing up Moreno and Gomez to roam and make things happen. Soehn saw that the game was there for the taking, and he went for it. Great to see for once...

Jaime Moreno: He wasn't mind-blowing on Saturday, but tying Kreis for the all-time goal lead is worth a treat.

Alecko Eskandarian: He scored his first goal of the year, but I think Esky just needs a pick-me-up after getting traded again.

Juan Toja: The best player on the field in Thursday's game, the Lizard King scored his second goal in as many games.

Juan Pablo Angel: He had a hand in all four Red Bull goals, that's what they're paying him for.
