1. False. The HDC has only hosted two U.S. National Team matches - both of them friendlies (Denmark in '04, Norway in '06).

2. These they be:
a. Minnesota Thunder (my personal favorite supporters group name)
b. Real Salt Lake
c. Kansas City Wizards
d. Wilmington Hammerheads (one of the nicest and most passionate supporters groups out there!)

3. Chris Carrieri, the top pick in the 2001 MLS SuperDraft

4. That's former Puerto Rico Islander Dan Kennedy, who now mans the net for Municipal Iquique of the second division in Chile

5. Martin Machon, who accomplished the feat for Los Angeles in 1998

The Forbidden Cupcake:
6. It's Johnny Torres, who scored five goals for the U.S. in Taiwan. You may remember Torres as a member of the New England Revolution in the late '90s. He also spent time with Miami and had a short stint with Chicago.

I thought number one was a trick question. The Home Depot Center hosted qualifying matches for the Women's World Cup, last November. (And, of course, the Women's World Cup proper, but that wasn't the question.)
