DC United: What up?

Honestly, I'm not completely sure. United is still dominating possession as they usually do, but they're not creating the goal scoring chances they usually do. Emilio seems to get his goal a game, but that's about it.

Here's how the second half of tonight's game went. DC would win the ball at midfield, make a couple of passes, knock the ball wide, take the ball towards the endline, and bang in a cross. Every single time, they would do this. Yeah, they were getting the ball wide and getting crosses in for the most part, but they were doing NOTHING with them. How about a little variety?

It seems like DCU has a couple of rules. No shooting outside the 18, unless it's a free kick. Every attempt on goal has to come off a cross, unless it's a free kick. Viva variety!

They need to sort out the winger situation, I'm not sold on Fred out there yet. At least's there's 2 weeks of practice to sort things out, but I think Casal might get a chance.

I think the next 2 weeks of training should be very interesting in our nation's capital.
