It's a done deal...

Burn the city down again. The biggest Latino hothead to ever walk the Earth is coming to Chicago.

Straight from the Chicago Tribune, Cuauhtemoc Blanco is coming to Chicago.

Now that it's pretty much a done deal, I don't know what to think. I've watched this guy for years and always hoped he'd come to MLS, but I just don't know if it will work.

First, he'll be crucified in Mexico City. The guy bleeds yellow and blue, always has and always will. He's been the face of the franchise for years. Even during his brief excommunication to Veracruz, it always seemed he belonged with the Aguilas.

He finally got his title just a couple of years ago, so some people might say he has nothing more to accomplish at the Azteca.

But what does he have to accomplish north of the border? I'm not saying it's a dumb move, it's probably what's best for him now. He's aging, doesn't have what he used to, and he's going to be getting a lot of money.

Man, I just can't believe this is happening.

EDIT: This was the lead story on Telefutura's Contacto Deportivo. And for more icing on your cupcake, they also hinted at Zinedine Zidane coming to MLS. Looks like this is who Telefutura was alluding to earlier, according to Sideline Views.
