Los Tuzos representin' CONCACAF

Since they beat MLS teams to get there, I guess it's appropriate...

If you missed the World Club Cup quarterfinal last night between Pachuca and Al Ahly, WATCH THE REPLAY. The Egyptians took a 2-0 lead into the break, even though Pachuca controlled the majority of the play.

It just didn't look like it would be Pachuca's day, chance after chance was going begging. They pulled one back early in the second half, before tying the game late in the second half on a great free kick. The onslaught continued in extra time, with the Gophers adding two more to send the Mexicans on to face Liga de Quito of Ecuador in the semis. Quito won the Copa Libertadores to qualify. Adelaide United of the A-League faces Gamba Osaka of the J-League in the other quarterfinal, with the winner matching up with Manchester United.

Pachuca is one of my favorite teams to watch due to their attacking philosophy. Their attitude is, "If you score 2, we'll score more." I wish more teams played like that. I'm so tired of watching teams play not to lose, rather than playing to win.

If you're lazy, check out the highlights here...
