Halftime thoughts, Seattle-Atlanta

2-2, pretty fun game so far, even if it's pretty sloppy...
  • Silverbacks defense looks like they forgot their sharpness on the plane, they've looked really shaky all night. Bobo and Lancaster pulled "a 3 Stooges routine" on one play according to the Seattle announcers. Even Shemp would've been disappointed...
  • Offense didn't too much until about midway through the first half. Once Kandji and Toure started switching, it caused a lot of problems. McLaughlin gets into the act too.
  • The only problem with Kandji and Toure playing so high up the field is that Seattle's wings are seeing lots of space in front of them. That could be a problem as the game goes on. Josh Gardner is looking pretty dangerous tonight.
  • Ansu Toure is on quite a hot streak right now, he's playing really well.
  • Great goal by McLaughlin, he's great in the air, one of the best in the league.
  • Quintero has made quite a few huge saves, and also quite a few dicey plays. Just not consistent enough...
  • Seattle's stadium music is terrible. Jesus Jones, Luscious Jackson, Live, Bush, etc. Is it BUZZBIN, ALTERNATIVE HITS OF THE 90'S soundtrack night? I mean, c'mon, this is Seattle. At least play some Mudhoney or something...
  • Someone please let the Seattle announcers know that this isn't Atlanta's second straight road game. They didn't win in Minnesota on Friday night, that game was in Atlanta.
Let's see who takes control of this in the second half...
