Sprinkles: Cookies

Los Angeles: Golden Balls looks likely to train with Arsenal in January, ahead of England's international match with Switzerland on Feb. 6. IT'S NOT A LOAN, IT'S NOT A LOAN, IT'S NOT A LOAN. Okay, just wanted to get that out of the way. Arsenal's training ground is close to Beckham's London area home, so it makes sense.

London: Speaking of the English capital, Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez got his walking papers today. Let's see how that affects Deuce, Boca, Keller, and McBride...

Salt Lake: RSL shipped Atiba Harris over to Chivas USA for a draft pick. They've also been scouting in South America, the Caribbean, and Germany. I think everybody scouts in the first two, but Germany is a new one.

San Jose: One of the Earthquakes' investors, John Fisher, has bought a stake in Celtic.

Houston: The Dynamo drew Municipal of Guatemala in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. It could've been worse, they could've gotten Saprissa, but it isn't too bad.

DC: United, on the other hand, received the best draw when it was paired with Harbour View FC of Jamaica. DCU beat them 4-2 on aggregate in 2005.
