One Final Prediction + Tidbits

Sorry for the late prediction ya'll, but just look at the standings.
I can't win or lose the bet, so I don't really care who wins or loses the match.

So here it is:

Houston 1-1 New England

But this year, the Revs take it in PKs. And there is no way Steve Nicol lets Jay Heaps take one unless it gets to the 11th shooter.

- I had to pick up a shift at work last night so I unfortunately was unable to catch the premiere of the MISL on FSC. Baltimore (featuring Machel Millwood and Scott Buete of the Silverbacks) beat Konnan's favorite team La Raza de Monterrey 12-9 to move to 5-0.

I did have a look at the MISL leaders last night, and there is a strange trend developing. Three of the top seven scorers in the MISL played for the Silverbacks last season. We already know that one of them (Dan Antoniuk of the New Jersey Ironmen) won't be coming back to Atlanta. Who's to tell what the future holds for Angel Rivillo and Machel Millwood?

- Georgia Perimeter wasn't the only local college to play in the postseason yesterday. The Georgia women advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with a win over Alabama A&M. The Kennesaw State women didn't fare as well, falling 3-0 at Florida State.

NOTE: Apologies to El Guero and Shoe, who were probably expecting the Konnan pic to feature him as Max Moon. Sorry guys, you can't be "La Raza" in that costume.
