Sprinkles: Fun with Goats

DC: United hosts Chivas tomorrow in the first leg of their Copa Sudamericana series. I'm anxious to see this one, as DC played the Goats tough in their CONCACAF semifinal, but lost 3-2 on aggregate. Hopefully, Troy Perkins will catch the ball well in Guadalajara this time around. DC has been playing very well as of late, while Chivas is 3-3-3 in the Mexican season. They have been missing Bofo (who was sold to Jaguares) and the young talent is still learning. Very interesting series, and one that could easily go either way. Catch the first leg live on FSE at 8:30, or on delay on FSC at 11:30.

FYI, you can get a pin of the image on the right from the Screaming Eagles for $5. The proceeds go to their excellent community outreach efforts.

LA: Good to see Alexi finally realized the value of having a doctor make the final decision on Becks' playing, and not David or ESPN.

Chivas: The Legion are already gearing up for the Cuau v. Chivas USA confrontation this weekend.

Toronto: Rumors abound that Maurice Edu and Marvell Wynne might be loaned to English clubs in the offseason.

I was at the Chivas v. DC game and it was a great time. I am not too optimistic about our chances down in Guadalajara but at least we didn't let them come into Estadio RFK and take points.

Great win, even though I was on the edge of my seat at El Rey del Taco for the whole second half. The Chivas fans were looking at us funny when we were yelling about Simms' goal.

That late Chivas goal might come back to hurt us...
