MLS Power Rankings - SuperLiga edition

I know, it's Thursday. Almost time for the Thursday night MLS bonanza. But the SuperLiga has already captured my imagination, so I'm going to shake things up a lot in this edition. I'm going to have two sets of rankings, one for SuperLiga teams and one for non-SuperLiga teams.

SuperLiga Rankings

1. Houston Dynamo - They didn't have the biggest victory so far, but they're still the best MLS team in this tournament. Beating America is worth something. Their hardest game out of the way.

2. Los Angeles Galaxy - Even without Beckham, they pulled off the biggest surprise in the tournament, beating Pachuca 2-1. This team lingering near the bottom of the Western Conference, beats the Mexican League champs. I certainly wouldn't have picked it.

3. FC Dallas - So Chivas didn't bring play their big boys. But Drew Moor should have kept his cool, and he paid for it. Sure, it wasn't really his fault, but they should have won this game.

4. D.C. United - Christian Gomez + a stupid move by Moises Munoz = D.C.'s goal. Gomez kicked it exactly where the fourth guy in the wall should have been. A beauty of a goal, but they should have won this, especially being a man up most of the 2nd half.

Eastern Conference

1. New England Revolution
2. Columbus Crew
3. Kansas City Wizards
4. New York Red Bulls
5. Toronto F.C.
6. Chicago Fire

Western Conference

1. Chivas USA
2. Colorado Rapids
3. Real Salt Lake
