Houston is the best team in MLS...

...at the moment anyway. They absolutely thrashed New York tonight 4-0, and it could've been much worse. The Orange Crush haven't lost in seven games now, and have two 4-0 wins under their belt in that time.

The run started with DDR, Chingy, Clark, and Onstad away on national team duty during the Gold Cup. Tonight, they were missing the injured Brad Davis (a knee injury will keep him out for a while) and the suspended Eddie Robinson. No worries, Patrick Ianni stepped into the defense and kept Juan Pablo Angel off the scoresheet. Stuart Holden replaced Davis quite nicely, two assists and a sweet goal will keep the Dynamo faithful happy.

Nice touch by Arena and the Red Bulls to give up midway through the second half. Pulling JPA and Reyna off is the equivalent of raising the white flag. I was cracking up as Waldo kept trying to talk about how frustrated Reyna looked when he came off, the way he kept shrugging his shoulders made me wonder if he cared at all. At least he didn't get injured...
