DCU will be playing Chivas again this year, this time in the Copa Sudamericana round of 16.
I don't understand the whining, "Oh, we've already played them, can we back out?" I'm glad DC gets another shot at the Goats in a meaningful set of games. DC could've won in the CONCACAF semi, and now they get a chance to correct that in the Sudamericana.
Going to the Sudamericana is an honor, and DC is the only MLS team to ever be invited. Of course, you shake CONMEBOL's hand, say thank you, and ask when game time is.
The games will be played between 9/11 and 10/4. The winner goes on to play the winner of a series between an Argentine and a Brazilian club.
